VF BLAMED FOR ONE MAN'S ACTIONS... It Makes Us All Look Bad.... Grrr...

okay, So I don't knwo How Many of You Who Read Have heard The Story, but in Montreal, Kimveer Gill Kills one 19 year old female, And injures 19 others when He opens Fire in school, Before Taking the gun to himself and taking his own life....

Now, Now Here Is My Problem.....

Kimveer Gill Was A Member of several different popular websites, including MySpace, and the One in Question, VF...

Why It's the only one in question... Well... Here's why....

Myspace and Vampirefreaks are two websites that i am Also a part of... Myspace has a more diverse culture of people, Where as Vampirefreaks, Is Mostly The "Goth" Culture...

Because Of this, And The Way Most People dress on that Site, And Because Gill Was A part of that site, EVERYONE on the Site Is Being put down by the Media, And Threats For closing down The Site are being made, Even Though the webmaster Spoke With Lawyers, And Everything They are doing is Legal, And The website will not be shut down....

The Webmaster, Jet, Shows His Sympathy for the Loss of The families in Montreal, And Feels bad for what had happened... Him, As Well As other Members of the site are Raising Money for charities, And Are Walking In The Childrens parade and So on... Yet, all The Nice Things That Some of The People from the site is Trying To do to help, Is STILL being put down by the Media, because of the one Incident that happened....
Reporter for the TORONTOSUN, Michele Mandel, Write An Article Telling The "FREAKS" from that Site to Stay away, When She Talks About The fundraisers and Such, Because The money that will be raised to help the children and the families will be raised by "freaks" and Will not be worth it...

"Now vampirefreaks.com wants to improve their blood-soaked image -- by hooking up with sick children. "
"Not surprisingly, after considering the matter for a few hours, Children's Wish told us they had no comment.
But we do -- they should stay home. "
"Despite all their claims to the contrary, the U.S.-based vampirefreaks.com has earned its sorry reputation. "

What are these people's problem?!?... people Are Trying To do Something NICE to HELP people, And yet, The Media Still Can't Accept that Not Everyone Who dresses in A different style of clothing Or Have The Same Lifestyle as they do, Are Not All bad....

Yes, I do Agree That A LOT of What A LOT of people On That Site Write Is Really immature and stupid, And they are doing it for the attention, but The people Who Actually Care, Who Don't Write immature posts or comments, who Don't Have Sadistic or Morbid Images on Their profiles from that Site (Which is The Majority, Not Minority), Should Not be put down by Not only the Media, but By ANYONE, For The Way They live their life or the way they dress...

Take Me for Example... Yes, I Do Follow A Different Lifestyle Than Most people, And I do Dress Different Than Most people, And I Do Wear a lot of Darker clothing, And Listen To "darker/louder" music, (even though I listen to pretty much everything)..... But For Those Who know Me, They Know That I Am a straight a Student, And I don't do Drugs, (yes, I have tried them, But I don't do them), And I VERY rarely Drink, And I Don't get into Trouble, And They Know I Would Never Hurt anybody intentionally, or even worse, KILL anybody....

And I Am Just one of the Thousands of People From That Website Who Should Not be put down because of the way I dress...

I Am Happy With Being Me.. I Am Happy With where my life is right now... yes, I Have My Down Times, But Who doesn't... Mainly, I Am Happy With Everything and everyone in My life at this point....

So Anyways, Those Are my thoughts on What's going on with the Shooting That happened in Montreal...

Any thoughts???... What do you All Think?.....

That is the end of this little rant..

I'm sur eI left out a lot of What I Was Thinking When I first read about it, But oh well.. That's all For Now... I have to go study for yet, Another test that I Have Tomorrow!....

HEADACHE POST # 2....

So f you look down, there is another post about having a headache...
I Use To get migraines when I was younger, so Maybe they are coming back.. Actually, I don't think so.. I'm pretty sure it's from all the studying...
I've took notes for studying and read and studied a bit today for about 5 hours... (Even though I don't have a test tomorrow.. I have one on thursday.. ).... So I'm Staying ahead which is great!... It's really hard though, because there is A LOT of work to it... SOOOO much more than I ever expected..
even Though I get the minor headaches, (which can be very annoying), And All the work, I Still LOVE the course, and All The people in the course with me.. And the teacher is a lot of fun too...

We Were suppose to go to the library today to work on our projects, but the library was closed...
We ended up going to an access center, Which Is Why There is information about our projects in the two previous posts...
It's because their printer was either broke, or wasn't set up or something, and all email sites were blocked, So I saved mine and tara's in this blog, So That I can get the information at home...

But Anyways, We Wen't there, And That was fun... The project I'm doing is really interesting... The hardest part about it is trying to find different resources to make sure the information I'm finding is liable...

ANYWAYS... So I had a test today.. it was the first half of the biology test... (our second half is on thursday), beause It was a really long chapter....
So The first half i ended up getting 102%...

(YOU CAN IGNORE THIS LITTLE RANTING PART)
I Should of Had more though, but for one of the questions, I had the right answer, but it was not what the teacher was looking for....

The question was Name Two types of bacteria...
So, I Names parasites and staprophites....
The Teacher was looking for pathogenic and non pathogenic bacteria for the answer... It IS the right answer because Parasites are a type of Pathogenic bacteria, And Staprophites are a type of non pathogenic bacteria... But Oh Well... 102% is still good.. I just hate knowing that I could of done better.. lol!... when I asked the teacher about it, she Explained that she was looking for the terms pathogenic and nonpathogenic.. And Then She pointed to my mark on the test and gave me a funny/sarcastic look, And I Laughed and told her I Was just greedy, And She Laughed at me... Oh Well.....

(ANYWAYS, YOU CAN START READING AGAIN IF YOU WANT)

anyways, I have to wake up early for school tomorrow, So It's bed time for me now...

Have A good night everyone...

ANCIENT EGYPT.. TARA'S PROJECT!!!.... IGNORE THIS POST...

As a sign of mourning the ancient Egyptians, whose heads were usually shaven, grew long hairEgyptian noblemen and noblewomen clipped their hair close; later, for coolness and cleanliness in the hot climate they shaved their heads with bronze razors. On ceremonial occasions, for protection from the sun, they wore heavy, usually black wigs. These were in short curly shapes or long and full in curls or braids and were adorned with ivory knobbed hairpins, fillets, fresh flowers or gold ornaments. Men shaved their faces and wore stiff false beards.http://www.queensnewyork.com/history/hair.html

In Egypt, many centuries before Christ, barbers were prosperous and highly respected. The ancient monuments and papyrus show that the Egyptians shaved their beards and their heads. The Egyptian priests even went so far as to shave the entire body every third day. At this time the barbers carried their tools in open-mouthed baskets and their razors were shaped like small hatchets and had curved handles. The Bible tells us that when Joseph was summoned to appear before Pharaoh, a barber was sent for to shave Joseph, so that Pharaoh's sight would not be offended by a dirty face.http://www.barberpole.com/artof.htm

The Ancient Egyptians, known for their attention to beauty and cleanliness, used combs and hairpins in their tresses since about the 4th century B.C. Egyptian women believed thick hair was best and used hair extensions and wigs made of real hair or sheep's wool. They even dyed their hair and wigs a variety of colors, with blues, greens, blondes and golds being their favored choices. Wealthy Egyptians had personal barbers came to their homes. In ancient Egypt head hair was often shaved, especially amongst children, as long hair was uncomfortable in the heat. Children were often left with a long lock of hair growing from one part of their heads, the practice being so common that it became the standard in Egyptian art for artists to depict children as always wearing this "sidelock". Many adult men and women kept their heads permanently shaved for comfort in the heat and to keep the head free of lice, while wearing a wig in public. In their graves we find combs and hairpins. They thought thick hair was best and used hair extensions and wigs made of real hair or sheep's wool. They dyed their hair and wigs a variety of colors with blues, greens, blondes and gold colors being among the preferred colors though black wigs hued by indigo were the favorite. Wealthy Egyptians had personal barbers who would come to their homes. They also used cosmetics and body oils. Women's wigs were often long and braided, adorned with gold ornaments or ivory hairpins. Men's faces were generally clean shaved, but stiff false beards were sometimes worn. http://www.crystalinks.com/hair2.html

Renaissance...
In the 15th century, The Renaissance Period, ladies of the upper classes tweezed the entire front hairline away to give the appearance of a higher forehead! The rest of the hair was tightly scraped back to show off the elaborate headdresses of the day. This was a practice common in Europe whereas the upper class ladies of Italy preferred to cover the hairline with low caps and jeweled turbans. They did, however, envy the fairer hair of Northern Europeans and sat for many hours in the heat of the sun in an attempt to Bleach their hair. The bleach of the day was made using either saffron or onion skins!
Also during the Renaissance, women again began to show their hair. Renaissance hairstyles essentially revived Roman and Greek hairstyles, and added more imagination.
Women decorated their hair with precious stones, pearls, ribbons and even shimmering veils. They also braided their hair, sometimes to form crowns around the tops of the heads. Again, hair was often dyed light colors such as blonde and gold. Some women used elements like alum, sulfur, soda, and rhubarb mixed together into a substance to dye their hair.
In France, ladies pulverized flowers into a powder and then used a gluey mixture to apply the powder into their hair.
Toward the end of the Renaissance, the general trend in fashion toward elaborate and whimsical styles extended to hairstyles. Women began wearing headdresses, at first a simple hood which then became peaked. Men wore broad hats that were sometimes trimmed with gemstones.
... The Renaissance period began in italy in the 1300's.. developed at a later date in other european countries, and ended about 1600s... The early part of the renaissance, is sometimes called the middle ages.. Renaissance is a french Word Meaning Re-birth. During the renassance, Venetian Woman had A very interesting wya of dyeing their hair.. the wahsed in in certain preperations, that turned the hair a reddish gold color when exposed to the sun!...

back From California...

Hey Everyone..
So I Made it Back From California.... What a fun Few Days That Was... The Trip Seemed Like It took only 3 or 4 hours to get there, yet seemed like it took 10 or 11 hours to get back, Because of the time change..

But Anyways....
First Day there....

We Leave At 3AM to go to moncton to catch the plane at 6AM...
We Make It in LA at Around 2...2:30... in the afternoon...
We get into the hotel, And The First Thing We do is go Out To eat at the Hotel...
Then We Went To China Town... We went shopping a bit, And Looked Around, And I bought a few things there... After chinatown, We Went To Little Tokyo, And Went to A japanese Restaurant...
The food wa SOOOOO good...

I Had A Whole bunch of everything...
Gyoza, Unagi, Sushi, Tofu, Raw Salmon, Something That I can't Remember what it was, it was golden brown, and crispy, And I think There may have been shrimp in it... And Then There was some other kind of meat stuff that i wasn't sure what it was... Really good though.... And A few other things...

after we Ate, we go back to the motel, Because by this time, It Was about 10 oclock LA time, Menaing, It was 2 oclock NB time, Meaning We Were up for almost 24 hours.... We All Passed out, And slept until 7 or 8 in the monring.. (7 or 8 in the Morning LA time)...

The Next Day, We Went on a Tour of LA, And the Star homes tour...
The Tour of LA was Really fun....
We got to see a lot of the places that were famous in movies, And clubs that stars owned... Like, The Viper... A Nightclub owned by Johnny Depp... I got a picture of it... I Also Got a picture of a building That Was in The Movie Men in Black.. and A Bunch of other pics... We Also Seen The Hollywood Sign, And Made A Stop On Hollywood boulavard... the Walk of Fame Was So cool.. I Got Pictures Of Marylin Monroe's Star, Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Michael Jackson, Ozzy Ozborne, And A Few other ones...
We Got A Picture Of Pat And I Down Pointing At Marylin Monroe's Star, And Pat Was posing with his tongue out like he was about to lick the star...
After that, We Had A Few Minutes of shopping And They Had A HOT TOPIC there... I Bought Some Really Cute Sweaters, with GIR on them from invader zim... If You Don't know who GIR is, he's The Cutest Cartoon Character ever in the world ever.. :D!!! ANYWAYS....

So After That, We Go down to I forget the name of the street, but It Was Where All the REALLY expensive shops Were, Like, Louis Vuitton, Dolce And Gabanna, And all the other places Like that...

After That, We Tour A Bit More, And Then We swicth buses To go on the Star homes Tour... Th THAT was fun.... I Got Pictures Of Ellen Degenerous' House, And Halle Barry's Mansion, And Courtney cox, And David Arquette, And matthew perry, Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitts House, And Michael Jordan's House, And Britney spears home, And tina turner, and Elvis presley's estate, And A whole bunch of other people... I Can't Rememebr Them all, But There Were A Lot Of Really cool hmes that We Got Pictures of.. I'm not sure which one is which anymore, But I know which one is Ellen's though! hahah!..

So All That, plus the eating Out And such pretty much sums it up for that day!....
The Next day, We went To Sea World... That Was Pretty boring.. Some Things Were fun.. but We All Agreed That We Wasted a day with that, and Could Of did something A LOT more fun!...
We Also Went shopping a bit that day!... Sea World Pretty much took up the entire day, because it was in san diego, Which Was a 3 hour drive there, because of the bad traffic, And another 2 hours back, so That kinda sucked...

Then on sunday, We Were suppose to go to universal studios, but patrick Wanted to go shopping for a few more things for school first, And The Stores Closed at 6 ish, and universal studio's Was only open til 7 that day, And so We Went shopping for a bit...
We Woke Up A Little Late that day too, around 11 or 12 ish.. And So With the bit of shopping we did that day, We decided not to go to universal studios, because We Would of only had like an hour or two there, by the time we got there, And Before it closed, So We Decided to use the rest of that day to go shopping...

We Also Went to another Japanese Restaurant at some point in one of those days, And The Food Then Was really good too..
I Had Shrimp With Rice, And Weird things that tasted like gyoza, but it wasn't.. it was good.. I forget the name of it though... And A few other things...
The last day, We went to Little Tokyo again for shopping, And There Was a Shop that Sold SO mcuh Stuff that i wanted... so Many CDs, And DVDs And Mangas... Oh, The Wall Of Mangas... Soooo Many... haha!.. It Was great!!... I Bought a few CDs there, And Two Tshirts...

anyways, That pretty much sums it Up For the Trip... There was a lot more than That, but I can't rememebr it all....

I Had Lots Of fun!...
I have to Start Saving Up Money Again, Somehow... for our Trip To Japan in April... I Can't Wait...

All The Things I've ever Wanted, All My Wishes and Dreams.... Just had to meet the right guy, And He's Making all My dreams come True!!.. So This is A Thanks To Pat!...

I would post pics, but I still have no Clue where my USB cord is For My Camera, SO pics will only be posted once That s found, Which I have no idea when That is going to be!!...

Anyways, Bed time now, Because I have to wake up tomorrow and study for a quiz on wednesday....
I'm glad my teacher decided to not have school on tuesday!... that made things a LOT easier!!... :)...

Anyways, That is all!!..
